There are two different types of Age Trading. The first part of it is where you trade your aging player away at the right time before he retires or regresses so bad that he is now valueless in the trade game. Do not hang on to these players just to hang on to them, stay strong in the trade game and get these players to make you a profit.

The second part of Age Trading is to seek out good aging players who are about or already showing some signs of regression. These players on average will be traded away for decently cheap allowing you to make a profit off of them. You will trade for them cheap and trade them away for high value. Take advantage of this each year that you can.
