If you would like to support the work we put into this then please consider becoming a Patron! Even a dollar can go a long way and it is always very much appreciated!

If you do not see a CB that you want on this list, if you have a question regarding a CB, or if a trade is no longer working then let us know in the comments and we will take care of it.

    NOTES:

    • We are creating groups for all players on this list. You will see easy CBs to trade for, high overall CBs to trade for, and CBs that require the SAT method.
    • We created all of the information below in an Active Roster (Updated Rosters) via Online Mode. Make sure it says “Importing 2753 players” when the Active Roster is importing. Otherwise, you will not be in updated rosters. Furthermore, if you do choose “Active Roster”, Madden recommends starting in preseason week one (default); we also recommend starting in the preseason. There are certain high-overall players in the Free Agency (FA) of preseason week one that will benefit you in certain trades depending on the player you are trying to trade for.
    • We are going to go into detail on how to trade for each player. We will also include links to our contract tips that will apply for all of these players.
    • For users who are in Offline Mode, most of this information will be relevant, however, the trade may be slightly different but the SAR will not.
    • For users in a fantasy draft, trading, in general, is going to much different. The SAR and SAT methods will work just fine, but for specialty positions, you will have to find the key player because he most likely will be different.

**If you want to sign any of the players below for super cheap then check out our Madden 21 Contract Tips.**

    Easy CBs to Trade For:

The following CBs are the easiest to trade for. They are all listed in alphabetical order by last name. Make sure to utilize the free agency if your league allows it.

How to Trade for Carlton Davis:

    • Trade away a 65+ overall yellow interest DT. Make sure you ask for picks back! You could receive a 3rd 2021-2022 or later. Make sure you ask for a pick back!

How to Trade for Jaylon Johnson:

    • Trade away a 70+ overall green interest DT. You may be able to get away with a yellow interest DT. Make sure to ask for picks back!

How to Trade for Desmond King II:

    • Trade away a 70+ overall green interest MLB and ask for picks back. You may have to add a 67+ overall green interest QB or FS to push that last good push. Ask for picks back!

How to Trade for Byron Murphy Jr.:

    • Trade away a 70+ overall yellow interest C, 70+ overall yellow interest HB (red-interest might work as well), and a 5th round 2021-2022 draft pick. You may be able to get a draft pick back, so make sure to ask.

How to Trade for Charvarius Ward:

    • Trade away a green interest 72+ overall MLB and a red interest 70+ overall HB. You will get picks back so ask for a 4th round 2022 pick back and work your way up.

How to Trade for Rock Ya-Sin:

    • Trade away a 72+ overall green interest QB, 73+ overall green interest ROLB, and a 70+ overall MLB. You need to ask for picks back starting at a 4th round 2022 draft pick.
    • NOTE: If you do not have one or more of the above players use it as a cheat sheet and use a different player on their team needs.

How to Trade for Levi Wallace:

    • Trade away a 72+ overall green interest ROLB. Make sure to ask for picks back. Start at a 4th round 2022 draft pick and work your way down.
    Harder CBs to Trade For

The following CBs are going to be harder to trade for. Whether you think they are worth it or not that is up to you.

How to Trade for Casey Hayward Jr.:

    • The Trade is coming soon

How to Trade for Richard Sherman:

    • Trade away a 75+ overall green interest DT, 72+ overall green interest RG, and a 2021 3rd-1st round pick.
    • NOTE: Alternatively, you could use a 74+ overall green interest ROLB instead of the RG.

How to Trade for Denzel Ward:

    • The Trade is coming soon
CBs That Require the SAT Method:

The SAR does not currently work with CBs that we have found. We are working on a way to get the SAR to work.

How to Trade for C.J. Henderson:

If you want Henderson and Okudah then we highly recommend that you go after Jeff Okudah first. The reason being you will be able to get Sherman and Okudah back at the same time a lot easier than Henderson and Sherman. Then you can head to the Jaguars and grab Henderson.

    • This method can be done in the regular season but we recommend doing it in the preseason. You will need to trade for Richard Sherman listed above. Trade Sherman to the Jaguars for any draft pick you can get back or go for a player who is not a CB. Once Sherman is on the Jaguars, C.J. Henderson is now tradeable. You will need to trade away a 70+ overall yellow interest HB, 72+ overall green interest LOLB, and a 2021 3rd-2nd round draft pick. You could also get Sherman and Henderson back at the same time if you had the right overall players.
    • NOTE: If you are in the preseason then you could use Kaepernick instead of the LOLB. This will allow you to use a 67+ overall yellow interest HB and a much lower draft pick, such as the 4th of 2021. Kaepernick has a lot of trade value and QBs are on the Jaguars team needs.

How to Trade for Jeff Okudah:

If you want Henderson and Okudah then we highly recommend that you go after Jeff Okudah first. The reason being you will be able to get Sherman and Okudah back at the same time a lot easier than Henderson and Sherman. Then you can head to the Jaguars and grab Henderson.

    • This method can be done in the regular season but we recommend doing it in the preseason. You will need to trade for Richard Sherman listed above. Trade Sherman to the Lions for any draft pick you can get back or go for a player who is not a CB. Once Sherman is on the Lions, Jeff Okudah is now tradeable. You will need to trade away a 67+ overall yellow interest RT, 70+ overall yellow interest HB, and a 74+ overall green interest MLB.
    • NOTE: You could also get Sherman and Okudah back at the same time. Simply replace the RT with a 2021 2nd-1st round draft pick.

When we are able to trade for them using our specialty method we will list them. Once we have them listed we will make sure to give you an update.

I found out how to to get Denzel Ward with the SAT. It’s pretty similar to getting Jeff Okudah and C.J. Henderson.
