If you would like to support the work we put into this then please consider becoming a Patron! Even a dollar can go a long way and it is always very much appreciated!

If you do not see a FS that you want on this list, if you have a question regarding a FS, or if a trade is no longer working then let us know in the comments and we will take care of it.

    NOTES:

    • We are creating groups for all players on this list. You will see easy FSs to trade for, harder FSs to trade for, rookie FSs to trade for, and FSs that require the SAR.
    • We created all of the information below in an Active Roster (Updated Rosters) via Online Mode. Make sure it says “Importing 7253 players” when the Custom Roster is importing. Otherwise, you will not be in updated rosters. Furthermore, if you do choose “Active Roster”, Madden recommends starting in preseason week one (default); we also recommend starting in the preseason. There are certain high-overall players in the Free Agency (FA) of preseason week one that will benefit you in certain trades depending on the player you are trying to trade for.
    • All of the FSs can be acquired through our Stack and Release (SAR) method, so there are no impossible SSs to get. If your league allows it and you need/want to do the SAR then simply grab the needed players for the trade as we explain below and then advance to the regular season. If you are in the regular season already then just grab the needed players then. The SAR will only work in the regular season.
    • We are going to go into detail on how to trade for each player. We will also include links to our contract tips that will apply for all of these players.
    • For users who are in Offline Mode, most of this information will be relevant, however, the trade may be slightly different but the SAR will not.
    • For users in a fantasy draft, trading, in general, is going to much different. The SAR and SAT methods will work just fine, but for specialty positions, you will have to find the key player because he most likely will be different.
    Easy FSs to Trade for:

The following FSs are the easiest to trade for. They are all listed in alphabetical order by last name. Make sure to utilize the free agency if your league allows it.

This list is currently under construction. Thank you for your patience!

    Harder SSs to Trade For

Some of these players may not be worth the trade so we will list how to do the SAR as well.

How to Trade for Jessie Bates III – 79 Overall:

    • Trade away a 76+ overall green interest ROLB, 76+ overall green interest MLB, and a 2021 1st round draft pick #10-1. You could use an offensive lineman who is on their team needs instead of the MLB.
    • NOTE: To do the SAR instead, pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Bengals for a draft pick only. The Bengals will drop Bates, so pick him up from the free agency.
    Rookie SSs to Trade for:

How to Trade for Grant Delpit – 72 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Browns for a draft pick only. The Browns will drop Delpit, so pick him up from the free agency.
    • NOTE: You can do the SAT to get Delpit. We will list what player you can use
FSs That Require the SAR/SAT Methods:

All of the players below are either way too expensive or impossible to trade for. We have a workaround with our SAT/SAR trade methods. These players will also be listed in alphabetical order by last name.

How to Trade for Kevin Byard – 91 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Titans for a draft pick only. The Titans will drop Byard, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick – 87 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Steelers for a draft pick only. The Steelers will drop Fitzpatrick, so pick him up from the free agency.
    • NOTE: Is it possible to trade for Fitzpatrick? Maybe. You will have to use a top 5 2021 1st round draft pick along with an 80+ overall green interest DT or MLB and an 80+ overall green interest RT or SS. You could trade away the top two positions on their team needs, which is a RT and DT for now.

How to Trade for Micah Hyde – 88 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Bills for a draft pick only. The Bills will drop Hyde, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Eddie Jackson – 89 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Bears for a draft pick only. The Bears will drop Jackson, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Devin McCourty – 92 Overall:

    • You can trade for him by using a 75+ overall MLB, 78+ LOLB, and a 2021 3rd-1st round draft pick. He is way too expensive for his age and is not worth trading for.
    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Patriots for a draft pick only. The Patriots will drop McCourty, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Justin Reid – 84 Overall:

    • SAR: Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Texans for a draft pick only. The Texans will drop Reid, so pick him up from the free agency.
    • SAT: Pick up Harrison Smith from the Vikings. Once you have acquired Smith, change his position to a FS and trade him to the Texans. This stacks Smith on top of Reid, making Reid less valuable. You can now trade for Reid, use a 70+ overall green interest RE, 72+ overall green interest DT, and a 2022 5th-4th round draft pick.

How to Trade for Logan Ryan – 85 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Giants for a draft pick only. The Giants will drop Ryan, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Justin Simmons – 90 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Broncos for a draft pick only. The Broncos will drop Simmons, so pick him up from the free agency.

How to Trade for Marcus Williams – 85 Overall:

    • Pick up 3 FSs from the free agency or use your own. One of those FSs needs to be at least a 67 overall because he will be the one to get your trade to go through. The overalls for the other two FSs do not matter. Then, trade those three FSs to the Saints for a draft pick only. The Saints will drop Williams, so pick him up from the free agency.
    • NOTE: Is it possible to trade for Williams? Maybe. You will have to use a top 5 2021 1st round draft pick along with an 82+ overall green interest MLB and an 80+ overall green interest LOLB.

We are going to be looking at all of the trades again and we will update them here soon.

In the meantime, you can do the SAR for Byard if you cannot find another trade for him!
