If you would like to support the work we put into this then please consider becoming a Patron! Even a dollar can go a long way and it is always very much appreciated!

If you do not see a HB that you want on this list, if you have a question regarding a HB, or if a trade is no longer working then let us know in the comments and we will take care of it.

    NOTES/RULES:
    • We are creating groups for all players on this list. You will see easy HBs to trade for and rookies to trade for on this list.
    • We created all of the information below in an Active Roster (Updated Rosters) via Online Mode. Make sure it says “Importing 2702 players” when the Custom Roster is importing. Otherwise, you will not be in updated rosters. Furthermore, if you do choose “Active Roster”, Madden recommends starting in preseason week one (default); we also recommend starting in the preseason. There are certain high-overall players in the Free Agency (FA) of preseason week one that will benefit you in certain trades depending on the player you are trying to trade for.
    • If you are not in the preseason and are starting before the trade deadline in the regular season, then a team’s needs will be different so the below trades may be different as well. Use the below trades as a guide and go off of their team needs from where you are at. Keep in mind that valuable positions are still in play, such as DTs and HBs.
    • We are going to go into detail on how to trade for each player. We will also include links to our contract tips that will apply for all of these players.
    • For users who are in Offline Mode, most of this information will be relevant, however, the trade may be slightly different but the SAR will not.
    • For users in a fantasy draft, trading, in general, is going to much different. The SAR and SAT methods will work just fine, but for specialty positions, you will have to find the key player because he most likely will be different.
    Easy HBs to Trade For:

The following HBs are the easiest to trade for. They are all listed in alphabetical order by last name. Make sure to utilize the free agency if your league allows it. If you want to sign any of the players below for super cheap then check out our Madden 21 Contract Tips.

How to Trade for Saquon Barkley:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 72+ overall green interest MLB, 74+ overall green interest DT, and a 70+ overall yellow interest C. Make sure to ask for a pick back so you are not overpaying.
    • NOTE: If the trade is not going through then get a higher overall C and it should go through and you will most likely get a pick back.

How to Trade for Chris Carson:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 65+ overall green interest RT, 75+ overall green interest LOLB, and a 74+ overall green interest ROLB. Make sure to ask for a pick back so you know you are getting your true value.
    • NOTE: The Seahawks love RTs so you can get away with using such a low overall RT. You could also try and use a higher overall RT, such as a 75+ overall instead of the ROLB or LOLB.

How to Trade for Nick Chubb:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 71-75 overall green interest MLB, 70-75 overall green interest LOLB, and a 70-74 overall yellow to green interest RG. Make sure to ask for picks back so you know you are getting your money’s worth.
    • NOTE: The RG may need to be a green interest to get the trade to go through. Every team trades differently with each team so keep that in mind.

How to Trade for Dalvin Cook:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 76+ overall green interest DT, 74+ overall green interest ROLB, and a 75+ overall green interest CB.

How to Trade for Austin Ekeler:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 70+ overall green interest DT, 64+ overall yellow interest LT, and a 74+ overall green interest MLB. Ask for a 4th round of 2022 back and work your way down to make sure you get your money’s worth.

How to Trade for Ezekiel Elliot:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 78-83 overall green interest TE, 78-83 overall green interest LOLB, and a 78-83 overall green interest DT.
    • NOTE: If the trade meter is very close then use a higher overall for one of the above positions. Always ask for a pick back to make sure you are not overpaying.

How to Trade for Aaron Jones:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 74+ overall green interest RE, 74+ overall green interest MLB, and a 75+ overall green interest DT. Sak for a pick back to make sure you are not overpaying.

How to Trade for Alvin Kamara:

    • The Trade: Trade away two 75+ overall green interest MLBs and a 77+ overall green interest LOLB.
    • NOTES: Instead of the extra MLB you could use a 3rd or 2nd round pick of the current year. You could also use a 74+ overall RG or RE instead of the extra MLB. Always ask for picks back to make sure you do not overpay.

How to Trade for Phillip Lindsay:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 70-74 overall red interest QB. Ryan Fitzpatrick works perfectly. You may be able to get a 6th-7th round pick of next year back.
    • NOTE: You could also use a 73+ overall yellow interest HB.

How to Trade for Marlon Mack:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 74+ overall green interest QB, 74+ overall green interest ROLB, and a 64+ overall red interest MLB. Make sure to ask for picks back so you are getting money’s worth.

How to Trade for Cam Akers:

How to Trade for J.K. Dobbins:

    • The Trade: Trade away a 67+ overall green interest FS. Make sure to ask for picks back so you know you’re getting your money’s worth.

What you need to do is pick up Emmanuel Sanders. You could also pick up Julian Edelman or John Ross as an alternative. Change their position to HB then trade Sanders or the other players mentioned to the Dolphins for a draft pick or whatever you can get besides HB.

Then, you can trade for Breida by using a 3rd round draft pick, a 67+ green interest RT, and a 66+ overall red-yellow interest HB. If the HB you use shows yellow interest you could possibly use a lower draft pick.
