The Stack and Trade Technique:
The Stack and Trade Technique is a technique we came up with in order to get players that are so-called “impossible”. It works like this: if you want a rookie QB that cannot be traded for, you will have to drop him down in the depth chart. This means giving a higher overall QB on their team that will force that team to drop said player down in the depth chart. This makes the team believe he is not as valuable anymore, which, in turn, makes him easier to trade for. You can see an example here: How to Trade for Lamar Jackson & Baker Mayfield in Madden 19
First, you want to do our Stack and Trade Technique by adding up enough guys that are a higher overall than the player you are trying to acquire. For example, we got Saquon Barkley – the impossible player to get – by adding a total of three HB’s to their team and put Barkley to the 5th place on the Bears depth chart. Knowing that teams do not keep five HB’s, they will have to drop their lowest overall HB on their list by preseason week 3. If you’re doing this in the regular season you just need to drop the player low enough, then they will drop him immediately, – no need to advance – so check the free agents! Either way, you will end up finding the player on free agents while also getting him cheaper as well.
