Shane Falco, also known as “Footsteps Falco” – the man who choked in the 1996 Sugar Bowl as Ohio State’s lefty QB, and then flamed out in the professional ranks, was given a second chance when a players strike forced the pro teams to use replacement players. Under the guidance of head coach Jimmy McGinty, Falco would eventually lead the Washington Sentinals to the playoffs.
Fast forward years later and we find Falco beginning his own coaching career as the Offensive Coordinator at Eastern Michigan, a lowly 1 star school in the Mid-American Conference. Will he be able to use what Coach McGinty taught him to help the Eagles to a conference championship? Will he eventually get a head coaching gig of his own? Follow along as we chronicle the highs and lows of the Shane Falco Experience.
