Is Sniping Cars on the Auction the Best Way to Make Millions in Forza 5?

Sniping cars off of the Auction seems to mean different things to different people, but what it is, is to get a car for a lot cheaper than what it is worth. That way you can resell it for what it is worth and profit off of it quickly.

There is no doubt that it can be profitable, however, it can also be a huge waste of time. There are zero guarantees that you can win that car in either a cheap “Buyout” or a win the cheap “Bid”. This is especially so if the car is more popular and the fact that Sniping has become increasingly popular so the market is flooded. Good luck.

What you have to realize about sniping cars is the realistic chance of it being successful. Sniping cars in bid wars have a low percentage chance of you winning high-end million-dollar cars for cheap.

There are tons and tons of players trying to do that same thing. The goal of the game is not a car auction war, yet, many who do this will waste much of their time trying to win the auction bids instead of playing Forza.

We tested it through and through with multiple pro gamers trying to win these bids or cheap buyouts and came to the conclusion that it is a waste of time for most.

Most people do not simply have the time to spend hours upon hours in a day to waste trying to get that expensive car for cheap on the auction block just to resell it. We literally spent more time trying to win cars for cheap on the auction than we did playing the game the way it was intended to be played.

There are gamers that will claim they made billions or even millions without taking into consideration how much time they actually spent doing so.

This is why we found a better solution as to how you should spend your time and money to make money in the game of Forza 5.

Buy Cars on the Autoshow to Resell

This may sound insane and that is because it is, however, just because it is insane does not mean that it will not work.

This will also make you a lot of extra money without having to spend much time and energy trying to snipe cars off the auction block and trying to resell them.

There are several cars that you can buy outright, throw a solid paint job on them, then turn around and sell them for a fair profit within 2 minutes. What we mean by solid paint job is something that stands out. You want it to catch someone’s eye; we explain more in the video above.

Sounds easy, right? That’s because it is; it’s also much quicker than sniping.

The Cars we Recommend

Before doing this, you want to always put the starting price as high as possible. You will have no control over the buyout price.

If you are doing one car, set that auction time limit to one hour. If you are doing multiple cars at once then stagnate them from one hour, another at three hours, and so on.

Let’s start with the GT 2020 McLaren. It is cheap on the Autoshow at only 210,000 credits. Depending on the auction, you can sell this car from 280,000 to 380,000 credits.

Furthermore, we recommend a lot of the Hoonigans. Hoonigans sell like hotcakes and you can sell them at a huge profit. You don’t even need to worry much about the paint jobs as much as you would with the McLaren or other cars.

A Hoonigan that does really well is the Ford “Hoonicorn” Mustang 1965. You can buy this Hoonigan for 500,000 credits and resell it on the market for 550,000 to 700,000 credits. The profit will always go up and down and 200,000 profit is not guaranteed.

Another great Hoonigan to resell is the 2016 Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Focus RS RX. You can buy it from the Autoshow for 500,000 credits and make 50,000-200,000 profit.
