PUBG MOBILE AND HONOR FORM THE PERFECT SQUAD AT GAMESCOM 2018

LOS ANGELES – Sept. 10, 2018 – Last month, nearly 400,000 attendees arrived in Cologne, Germany for Gamescom 2018, the world’s second-largest gaming convention of the year. As part of Gamescom, the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG MOBILE) team collaborated with Honor, the innovative smartphone e-brand, to create an interactive booth experience for PUBG MOBILE. Fans who stopped by the booth had the opportunity to play PUBG MOBILE on Honor’s all-new gaming smartphone, the Honor Play.

The Honor Play phone boasts an enhanced gaming experience, with GPU Turbo for graphics processing, 3D audio effects, AI-enabled 4D Smart Shock, a huge 3,750 mAh battery and 6.3-inch notch screen. More information can be found here.

PUBG MOBILE also hosted an exclusive “Creator Showdown” competition for booth visitors to spectate and participate. Renowned content creators including StoneMountain64 and MasterSnakou joined in to fight for the coveted Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. After multiple rounds of intense battle royale action, StoneMountain64 and his squad achieved victory. Fans can get a look at a recap of all the action here.

PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play.

PUBG MOBILE is developed by Tencent Games and PUBG Corp. and based on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundsthe original PC and Xbox One gaming phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote 8×8 km island to do battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
